What's the point of going out birding?

Blow me if Steve and Elena have not done it again!  Not only does he stay at home in Frigiliana enjoying an afternoon nap and glass of wine (not necessarily in that order!) but he sends Elena out onto the terrace and she then reports back on the birding activity.  Not content with looking down and seeing a pair of Dunnocks in the bushes below, she then looks up and points out the Bonelli's Eagle drifting by.  Now add on the Red Squirrel and Crossbill and you will see what I mean by looking at Steve's photos taken earlier on this afternoon.

No don't ask; I've already placed my order for Elena to act as my personal "spotter" in the days to follow!
